The most common problem with the CS3000/3070 mobile scanner not storing data after scans is when Bluetooth mode is enabled, but the scanner is not connected to a host device.
If you hear 3-4 short beeps after each scan, this indicates the issue. You'll also notice a blue light slowly flashing on the device.
If Bluetooth mode is enabled and not paired to a host device, you will not be able to scan and store data on the scanner. If this occurs, turn off Bluetooth mode by briefly pressing the small round Bluetooth button. The blue light should stop flashing. Then, try a barcode scan again. A single beep means the scan was successful.
